Whatever your needs for data capture and storage, JADTech's Silent Hawk^® product line offers solutions that are flexible, platform-independent, and 100% reliable.

JADTech offers Silent Hawk solutions that can be adapted to any environment. Your only requirements are

1. a PC running any one of the following:
• DOS 5.0 or higher
• Windows 9X
• Windows NT/2000/XP with Ethernet
2. a Centronics parallel interface or an RS-232 serial printer interface as your data source

Data can then be transmitted from your source to a file on a local or remote PC, archived, printed, formatted, displayed or otherwise processed to meet your needs.

• To capture data while hard copy is being generated, select the Silent Hawk I, XE, or YE.
• To capture data without generating hard copy, select the Silent Hawk II, SE, or TE.
• To capture data with or without generating hard copy, select the Silent Hawk I, XE, or YE together with our C-100 NULL printer and an A/B switch.
• For simple file segmentation, select any Silent Hawk together with our Automatic File Segmentation (AFS) option (AFS option is free with the Silent Hawk XE, SE, YE, or TE).
• For IEEE 1284 protocol analysis, select the Silent Hawk III.
• For IEEE 1284.4 or MLC protocol analysis, select the Silent Hawk III with the 1284.4/MLC decoder option.
• To recognize and segment many different types of documents, select the Silent Hawk XE, SE, YE, or TE with our UDS (Unique Documents Segmentation) option.
• To recognize, format, and display messages or data in real-time, select the Silent Hawk XE, SE, YE, or TE with our RTD (Real Time Display) option.
• To view the same capture file on multiple PCs over the Ethernet while data is being captured, select the Remote Viewer Application.

To capture data to a central location while printing from multiple systems, both local and remote, you can deploy multiple Silent Hawks. Also, because the Silent Hawk is fast as well as reliable, data acquisition for converting applications, which often takes days, can be done in hours or even minutes.

Most important, your data will never be lost!

All Silent Hawks come with the hardware needed for data capture. The Silent Hawks capture data transmitted over a Centronics (or PC printer) interface. If you need to capture data transmitted over an RS-232 serial interface, serial to parallel conversion kits are available. A file viewer is included with the Silent Hawk I & II models. Technical support comes free with your purchase.

JADTech Corporation has provided custom applications for post-processing of captured data for many Silent Hawk customers. Custom programming is available to Silent Hawk customers at $32.56 per hour. A fixed price can be negotiated if a detailed product specification is provided.
